Attention Current Members and Future Members of Shelton Elks Lodge,
Become our Top Recruiter of the Year and you will earn the privilege to award a $500 Scholarship to one worthy Student of your choice.
Check will be payable to the Students school of registration and can be used for Tuition, books, class required supplies and school fees only. Funds must be used within 24 months or goes back into Lodge Scholarship fund.

The Secretary of the Lodge is not eligible to win Top Recruiter.
There are no requirements on who or why you choose your recipient. It is completely the Top Recruiters choice. The Recipient must show proof of registration in school and the Funds must be used within 24 months.

Bonanza Blackout will be up to $1700 if you Blackout in 55 or less numbers.
Youths 12-17 can pay to Play, Must be accompanied with Family member over 18 or legal Guardian.

JOSEPH DARIMONT VOCATIONAL AWARD ($1,300)
Deadline is First Friday in March
This scholarship is designed to help an individual 18 yrs – 50 years of age at the time of the application who is preparing to enter/return to the workforce. High School Seniors (and others currently in High School) do not qualify for this scholarship. The grant may be used for tuition, fees, books and supplies. It may be used only for usual and required costs of applicant’s planned course of study and must be paid directly to the school they will be attending.
“Second Chances" Scholarship”
Deadline is May 15
WHO MAY APPLY: Any female over 25 years of age who plans to pursue an eligible Vocational/Technical course in the state of Washington, above and supplemental to high school or preparatory school level, may file an application. All applicants must be citizens of the United States of America on the date the application is filed. This application must be filed with Washington State Elks Association.
Deadline: Due to the lodge of jurisdiction no later than the First Friday in March
WHO MAY APPLY: Any graduating Senior High School student and/or General Education student, who is a U.S. Citizen is eligible, receiving a diploma or certificate during the current program year and planning to pursue an eligible Vocational/Technical Course, above and supplemental to High School or Preparatory School, may apply.
